NuMask CPAP/BiPAP Kit

This kit utilizes an effective intra oral seal to create an oral interface that maintains positive pressure ventilation. In conjunction with the NuMask patent-pending Retention Shield which secures the IntraOral Mask (IOM) in place while occluding the nose, the NuMask CPAP/BiPAP Kit is an alternative to traditional external CPAP masks.

An airtight seal. The CPAP/BiPAP kit includes NuMask’s patented (IOM) that creates an air tight seal by fitting intraorally, under the lips, but in front of the teeth, like a snorkel. Impervious to seal compromising facial features like beards, lack of dentition and obesity, the NuMask IOM creates an air tight seal, every time.

A comfortable shield. The NuMask patented Retention Shield secures the IntraOral Mask (IOM) in place while occluding the nose, providing a better alternative to traditional CPAP masks. Thanks to thoughtful design, leaks around the nose which can dry eyes and casue keratitis are no longer an issue.

A strapping success. The NuMask Retention Shield is a simple Velcro-adjustable two-strap system that provides rapid positive pressure ventilation in seconds. Due to the superior sealing properties of the IOM and shield, time-consuming mask and strap readjustments are eliminated.

Mitigate patient anxiety. Large, old-fashioned face masks can sometimes trigger patient anxiety and claustrophobia, further complicating patient respiration and receptiveness. The NuMask IOM and Retention Shield covers only the patient’s mouth, alleviating unnecessary stress that hinders aid. The lack of a bite guard allows patients to swallow their own saliva, which helps allay anxiety as well.

Consume less oxygen. Leak-free seals mean less oxygen is consumed in EMS setting where oxygen supplies can often be limited.
